In 2004, I was diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), an autoimmune condition that affects the neurological system and causes inflammation in the optic nerves and spinal cord. It has been an arduous journey, and though I’ve recovered remarkably well from the spinal flare-ups, my vision, as you know, has deteriorated permanently.
The
Guthy Jackson Charitable Foundation is dedicated to funding scientific research to find answers that will lead to prevention, clinical treatments, and an eventual cure for NMO.
One hundred percent (100%) of all profits from the sale of the #TeamChristine T-shirt will be donated to the GJCF.
Thank you for supporting #TeamChristine and helping to better the lives of all those living with NMO. If you'd like to donate directly to GJCF, please visit the
